Community Climate Action Days in Oakland and across California combine the forces of California Service Corps and thousands of volunteers for days of service
OAKLAND, Calif. – California Volunteers, Office of the Governor will join forces with the City of Oakland to create a full day of climate action activities. Volunteers will participate in invasive plant removal and native planting. The event concludes with food and music.
Led by California Chief Service Officer Josh Fryday, California Volunteers, Office of the Governor empowers Californians to take action to improve their communities. #CaliforniansForAll is the statewide volunteer corps working to respond to disasters, build community and strengthen our state through service.
