D10 Christmas in the Park Stage Night
6:00 PM to 8:00 PM in-person at Christmas in the Park 1 Paseo de San Antonio, San Jose, CA 95113
District 10 is taking the stage at Christmas in the Park on the evening of December 15th. Stop by with friends and family to enjoy performances organized by Victory Outreach San José. There will be tree displays, candy canes, and fun!

San José City Council Recess
The last San José City Council of 2022 will be December 13. The Council will resume on January 10, 2023. You can watch live meetings on the City’s YouTube Channel.

San José City Hall, City Offices Closed December 23-January 2
While most City services will be closed in observance of the Christmas and New Year holidays, Friday, December 23 through Monday, January 2, respectively, public safety and utility services will operate during the holidays.

Customer Contact Center (San José 311): An answering service will provide information and assist callers December 23-26 and December 30-January 2. The Customer Contact Center is open December 27, 28, and 29 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Non-emergency requests requiring follow-up will be routed to the proper department and handled during open business hours.

San José Public Libraries: All City libraries will be closed from December 23 (King Library will remain open) through December 26 and will resume normal business hours on December 27. All libraries will also be closed on December 30, 2022, to January 2, 2023, for the New Year’s holiday and will reopen on January 3, 2023. The Library’s eLearning resources and digital collections are available 24/7. For hours and locations, visit sjpl.org.

San José Community Centers and Regional Parks: All City community centers will be closed. Almaden Lake Regional Park, Emma Prusch Farm Park, Lake Cunningham Regional Park, and Overfelt Gardens will be closed on December 24-25, 2022, December 31, 2022, and January 1, 2023. Happy Hollow Park & Zoo will close at 2 p.m. on December 24 and closed on December 25, 2022, and January 2, 2023. Stay up to date on seasonal closures.
Christmas in the Park’s Blinky’s Holiday Drive Through at Lake Cunningham will remain open. To attend, purchase tickets in advance.

Garbage and Recycling Service: Garbage, recycling and yard trimmings collection will not be affected by the Christmas or New Year’s Day holidays. Collection will occur on your normal collection day. Residents can contact their garbage, recycling, or yard trimmings company, or use SJ 311. Visit www.sanjoseca.gov/311 to report missed collections, damaged carts, or to change cart size. Visit www.sjenvironment.org/lookup to locate your collection companies.
