City of Santa Clara to Host Series of Night Markets
Admission Free Community Event is Part of 2026 Campaign to Celebrate Being a Host City for Major Sports
SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Celebrate Santa Clara: Night Market kicks off May 1 and is a two-day community celebration that brings food, art, culture, and music to our downtown corridor.
What: Santa Clara is celebrating its rich culture and culinary identity by transforming the downtown corridor into a lively destination on select Friday and Saturday nights. The night markets feature over 100 food vendors and retailers, a beer garden, art, live music and performances. Every month, there will be a flex zone area that features a different theme.
- May: Car show and Lucha Libre Wrestling
- June: FIFA World Cup
- July: Sports and Recreation
As host city to Super Bowl LX and the upcoming FIFA Men’s World Cup, the Night Markets are part of our 2026 community engagement campaign, “Where the Mission Meets the Moment.”
When:
- 4 p.m. – 9 p.m. on Fridays (May 1, June 5, July 17)
- 2 p.m. – 9 p.m. on Saturdays (May 2, June 6, July 18)

What to enjoy: Live cooking demos, live performances, bands, vendors, car show, Lucha Libre wrestling matches. SBLX Roman Numerals and the FIFA World Cup Clock will also be on display.
Parking is available at the 1063 Alviso St. (North Campus Garage) complements of Santa Clara University.
Food is available for purchase throughout the evening.
